Kurdistan Region reports 11 new coronavirus cases

The Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Region announced on Monday, 11 new cases of the novel coronavirus.

 

The ministry said in a statement that "11 new cases of coronavirus were recoreded in the Governorates of Erbil and Halabja."

 

Including the new 11 cases, the number of coronavirus cases in the Kurdistan Region reaches 172, including 2 deaths and 57 full recoveries, while the rest are under medical care.

 

Today, the Health Minster in the Kurdistan Region in a statement said that " there are 8 coronavirus cases in the medical staffs, which includes doctors, nurses and health employees."

 

The Kurdistan Regional Government on Saturday, extended the closure of government departments and institutions till 16th of April.

 

The decision does not include the security forces and health institutions.
