Kosrat Rasul: PUK ready to provide help to Turkey's earthquake victims

Saturday, Kossert Rasul, Leader of the Supreme Political Council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, sent a message of condolence to the families of the victims of the series of earthquakes that struck northern Kurdistan.


The following is the text of the message: 


With great sadness and sorrow, we have received news of the victims of a series of earthquakes that struck the city of "Harput" in northern Kurdistan, which resulted in the death of a number of citizens and wounding others.


We console ourselves and extend our condolences to the sisters and brothers in Turkey in general and to the families of the victims in particular, calling on the Almighty for a speedy recovery for the wounded, and  the concerned authorities to expedite the provision of immediate assistance to these areas.


We in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan are ready to provide all health and humanitarian assistance to save our sisters, brothers, and victims of this disaster.
