A young Kurd sets himself on fire outside the UNHCR building

Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, a 28-year-old Kurdish man set himself on fire in front of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) building in Switzerland on Wednesday.

 

According to our correspondent, the young man from west Kurdistan, set himself ablaze outside the UNHCR building in Geneva, in condemnation of the Turkish attacks on west Kurdistan.

 

According to the police the man is a Syrian Kurd and resides in Germany.

 

The young man from Germany was immediately flown by helicopter to a local hospital.
