The largest statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary was unveiled Saturday evening at the Church of Saint Korkis in Bartella district of Nineveh province.

 

The decrees witnessed wide participation demonstrating the return of life to the region and its reconstruction.

 

According to our correspondent, the new statue is the largest in the Middle East, after ISIS gangs demolished the old statue during their occupation of Bartella.
