After 33 years of his martyrdom, on Sunday, October 6, 2019, the remains of a teenager martyred by the Baathist regime, because his father was a Peshmerga, were found.

According to the mother, when her 14-year-old son fell ill in 1986, she took him to a hospital near Kifri district, but after the dictatorship regime learned that he was the son of a Peshmerga, they killed him brutally and inhumanly.

During the transfer of the child to the hospital by her mother, the hospital employees who worked for the regime injected him with a poisonous needle which killed him, and then they found an excuse to not give the mother her dead son's body, and buried him in a secret place, but after receiving information on the location of the grave, today after 33 years, the relevant authorities opened the grave and found the remains.
