1326 IDPs return to Mosul and Nineveh Governorate

The Ministry of Displacement and Migration announced the return of about 1326 displaced from the camps of the southern axis of the city of Mosul to the neighborhoods and areas of Nineveh province.


In a statement, the Director General of Branches Affairs Ministry, the Ministry’s spoeksman, Ali Abbas Jahagir stated: The Ministry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and the Joint Operations Command, has allocated buses to transport the IDPs wishing to return voluntarily from the camps of Hammam Al-Alil and Al-Jada'a, south of Mosul, to their homes in Nineveh Governorate and other liberated areas.


He pointed out that the areas that the displaced families returned to are Makhmour district, Al-Hadhr, Mosul district, Badosh, Tal Abta, Rabia, Ba’aj, Qayyarah, Al-Kask, Mahlabiya, Nimrud, Tel Abta, Hamidat, Hammam Al-Alil, and Sinjar.
