President Barham Ahmed Salih sent a peace message on behalf of Iraq to the nations of the world.
"On World Peace Day, Iraq carries the message of peace to the nations of the world," Salih said in a tweet on Twitter.
He added: Our people have been stricken by the scourge of war, tyranny and terrorism, and look forward to security, peace and freedom to end killing, abuse and corruption, and hopes that the language of peace will prevail in our region and the world. Enough of wars, let’s to reconstruction and serve people.
