ISIS claims responsibility for the explosion of Karbala

The Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility for the explosion in Karbala province on Friday.


"ISIS claimed responsibility for the explosion that killed 12 people near the city of Karbala on Friday," news sources said on Saturday.


An explosive device exploded inside a passenger bus, on Friday evening, near the main 'checkpoint 54' entrance of the holy city of Karbala, killing 12 citizens and wounding five others.


A security force arrested the accused who carried out the crime that targeted a civilian bus at one of the entrances of the city of Karbala and killed many civilians.
