Latest toll of Karbala’s explosion

The security information cell revealed on Friday, September 20, 2019, a new death toll from the bombing that targeted a checkpoint in Karbala province.


In a statement which PUKmedia received a copy of, the Security Media Cell said: The death toll from the explosion that occurred near the main checkpoint “54”, entrance to the holy city of Karbala, rose to 12 dead and five wounded, noting that the wounded were taken to hospitals for treatment.


Earlier, an improvised explosive device placed inside a car exploded near the main checkpoint “54”, entrance to the holy city of Karbala.
