Eight were killed on Friday, September 20, 2019, as a result of an explosion in Karbala province.
In a statement which PUKmedia received a copy of, the Security Media Cell said: An improvised explosive device was placed inside a car near the main checkpoint "54", entrance to the holy city of Karbala.
"The explosion burned the people who were inside the wheel," the statement said.
In a statement, a security source told PUKmedia that he explosion killed at least 8 and wounded 6, indicating that the security forces cordoned off the scene to find out its circumstances.
