The Council of Representatives is scheduled to hold a session on Saturday 21-9-2019 to discuss and conduct the first reading of a number of bills, the most important of which is voting on the draft law ratifying the agreement for exemption of holders of diplomatic passports and service / official entry visa between the governments of the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of Serbia.
Hassan Ali, a member of the Council of Representatives for the PUK bloc, told PUKmedia: On Saturday, 21-9-2019, the Council of Representatives will hold a session to discuss and conduct the first reading of a number of bills, the most important are voting on the draft law on Iraq's accession to the Convention on Maternity Protection and voting on the draft law ratifying the protocol of 2014 supplementing the Convention on Forced Labor No. 29 of 1930.
“The Parliament will discuss the vote on the draft ratification of the Convention on the exemption of holders of diplomatic passports and service / official from the entry visa between the Governments of the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of Serbia,” he said.
Ali also pointed out that tomorrow's session will include the first reading of a number of draft laws, the first amendment to the law of the Fund for the support of internal departments in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as, the proposal of the second amendment law to compensate those affected by military operations and military mistakes and terrorist operations, noting that the session will include a vote on the draft law on Iraq's accession to the UNESCO Convention on the Protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage.
The Council of Representatives has ended voting on a draft law, reading and discussing three other laws, and lifting the immunity of MP Fayaq Sheikh Ali, during its third session on last Tuesday, September 17, 2019, as it was decided for the session to be lifted to Saturday, September 21, 2019.
