An extensive operation launched in Anbar

On Thursday, September 19, 2019, a joint force carried out an airdrop operation in the Anbar desert area, destroying two ISIS dens.


In a statement, the Security Media Cell said: A joint airborne force from the commando regiment Command of Anbar operations and the Anbar Police Tactical Regiment carried out an airdrop operation in the Jalabat desert and destruction of two ISIS dens.


"The first den contains various medium and light weapons, the second contains equipment and tools that were booby-trapped and destroyed, while the force also destroyed ISIS operatives in the Anbar desert and arrested one of the terrorists whom was wanted by the judiciary," the statement added.
