Kirkuk hosts the Film Forum for short films

Preparations are underway to hold the first Kirkuk Film Forum for short films, which is scheduled to start on Friday 20/9/2019 in the hall of the Cultural Center in the city of Kirkuk.


In this context, Sardar Rashid Zangana, chairman of the forum, pointed out that invitations were extended to the artists who are about 60 guests from artists of Iraq and the Kurdistan region, including a good selection of professors from the faculties of fine arts in Iraq, senior actors and directors in addition to specialists in the affairs of cinema, explaining that 10 films will be screened in the two-day event in addition to two films that will be screened on the opening day.


Sardar Zangana confirmed that the media sponsor of the forum is the Kurdsat channel and Kurdsat News and is funded by the Directorate of Culture and Arts in Kirkuk.
