President receives head of iraqi high commission for hajj and Umrah

President Salih welcomed Sheikh Khaled Al-Attiyah, the Head of the Iraqi High Commission for Hajj and Umrah, and his deputy, Sheikh Sami al-Massoudi, into the Presidential Office in Baghdad today.


His Excellency stressed the critical importance of providing safe and effective support services for all Iraqi pilgrims who undertake the Umrah pilgrimage. 


The Iraqi state must continue to assist all those who are undertaking Hajj and Umrah, and help them overcome all obstacles that face them, the President added. 


President Salih praised the ongoing efforts made by the Hajj and Umrah Commission to provide this comfort for pilgrims during the Hajj season.  


Sheikh Al-Attiyah reviewed the recent work completed by the Hajj and Umrah Commission. He noted that during the Hajj season, the Commission makes every effort to provide the best possible services to all pilgrims.
