The House of Representatives lifts immunity from one of its members

The House of Representatives voted in its third session on Tuesday to lift the immunity of MP Faeq Sheikh Ali.


Hussein Narmo, a member of the House of Representatives of the PUK bloc told PUKmedia: "The House of Representatives voted during its session on the draft amendment of the law of agricultural quarantine No. 76 of 2012", indicating that the Council postponed the vote on the draft law ratifying the agreement between Iraq and the International Committee of the Red Cross and decided to return it to the government for study.


Narmo confirmed that the members of the House of Representatives voted to lift the immunity of MP Faeq Sheikh Ali, noting that lifting the immunity needs the vote of half +1 of members present at the meeting.
