Army Chief of Staff, Gen. Othman al-Ghanmi announced on Monday that the Fifth phase of "Will of Victory" operation will continue until securing the administrative borders of Najaf, Karbala, Baghdad, Diyala and Anbar provinces.

 

al-Ghanmi told the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) website that "the Fifth "Will of Victory" operation was launched under the leadership of Anbar and Middle Euphrates operations with the participation of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the support of the army's air force," noting that the operation will continue until securing the administrative borders of Najaf, Karbala, Baghdad, Diyala and Anbar provinces.

 

al-Ghanmi added that "the participating units are moving ahead towards the Saudi border according to the plans and by air landing operations to make sure that the valleys and deserts are free from ISIS hideouts and gathering places."
