Tens of thousands voted the Kurdish world thinker as the world’s top thinker, Kochar Birkar

Prospect magazine reported that a Kurdish journalist, Kochar Birkar is topping the list of top 50 intellectuals in the world.


The magazine announced the winners in a special appendix with extensive profiles of the top ten on the list.


Kochar Birkar won an overwhelming majority with more than half the total vote.


he was Born in the village of Nee in Mariwan, eastern Kurdistan, in 1978, Birkar is currently studying at the University of Cambridge. In 2018, he was awarded the world's largest mathematics award.
