The Kurdistan Parliament will meet for recognizing Yazidis massacre by ISIS as genocide

August 1 of 2019, The Kurdistan Parliament will meet for recognizing Yazidis case as genocide, and it is been scheduled to do this recognition in August 3 which is the anniversary of Yezidis day of genocide.


Dr. Rewaz Fayaq, spaker of House of Representative, invited the parliament members for Parliament's session and said: We have decided to invite all the parliament members for the abnormal sesssion of No 2, the first year of the fivth turn of Parliament of Kurdistan  and Iraq by depending on the first paragraph on the 8th subject of the Kurdistan Parliament, ans this meeting will be going on at 11 Am today.


Abas Fatah, a member of Kurdistan Parliament on th PUK's bloc from the legal Committe of the Parliament of Kurdistan told PUKmedia: It is expected that Kurdistan Parliament will be holding a session for the Yazidis case and recognizing it as genocide on August 1-3 of 2019.


He added: The second reading for the draft law will be done today, and the Kurdistan Parliament will be voting on the draft law on August 3, which is the anniversary day of Yazidis massacre by the hand of ISIS on August 3 of 2014.
