A delegation of families of martyrs and anfalites visited on Tuesday the prison of Nugra Salman and the mass grave in the desert of Samawa in Muthanna province.

 

In a statement to PUKmedia, Salar Mahmoud, the presidential adviser, said that the delegation of the families of the martyrs who arrived in Muthanna province visited the prison of Nugra Salman, which was taken by the former Baathist regime as a place to torture, kill and exterminate the innocent Kurds who were living in 1988.

 

He added: On the outskirts of this fortress was found today a new mass grave containing the remains of citizens cord through a patron, pointing out that the delegation of families of the martyrs went to the site of the new mass grave.

 

He pointed out that the delegation of families of martyrs Anfal, also visited the site of the mass grave, which is working on the opening and the exhumation of the remains of the martyrs in the Sheikhiya area in the desert Samawa in Muthanna province.
