In June at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw (the oldest and the most prestigious private university in Poland) was held “University International Festival”.

The goal of the event was to provide common space for people from different countries and cultures, to share their experiences, develop tolerance and diversity.

Kurdish students at the SWPS University made their own stand at the festival and they invited Kurdish student from the other Polish universities to join the event. At the Kurdish stand there were Kurdish dishes, national clothes, pictures from Kurdistan and books about Kurdistan.

Kurds also performed tradition dance.

KRG Representation in Poland supported students in organizing the stand and provided them with clothes, instruments, books, maps and pictures of Kurdistan. After the event, students expressed on facebook gratitude to KRG Poland for support in organizing the event.
