FNA:
People's Defense Units (YPG) Press Office has released a statement about the major offensive they have launched against al-Qaeda linked ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) in Til Koçer region on Wednesday night.

Following two operations called "Tırbespiyê” and “Til Elo Martyrs”, YPG fighters took the control of Sidêdiyê, Siha, El Werdiye and El Biwêta villages in Til Koçer, and repulsed the gang groups from three hamlets al-Qaeda used as military headquarters.

YPG said that the gang groups started to escape from the region after suffering heavy losses in clashes with YPG fighters, and even left their casualties in the clashes area. YPG fighters also seized the ammunition of the gang groups.

The statement underlined that the first phase of the operation has succeeded, and that the offensive will continue for the safety of all peoples in the region.

YPG called on all political parties, organizations and institutions in west Kurdistan to support their forces.
