The PUK and the Islamic Union discuss developments



On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, Bafel Talabani received Secretary General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salaheddine Bahaaeddin in the city of Sulaymaniyah to discuss the political developments in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the region.

 

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen relations between the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Islamic Union for the benefit of the people of Kurdistan.

 

The two sides stressed that any changes in the constitution, if were made, should be on the basis of consensus and agreement to ensure the rights of the Kurds and other components, the meeting also discussed reforms in the Kurdistan Region and the importance of unity in the current stage to overcome the difficulties.
