Bafel Talabani meets Harki clan leader

Bafel Talabani, the Co-President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, received Wednesday Harki Jawhar Agha, leader of the Harki clan.

 

During a meeting in Dabashan Hill, strengthening the relations between the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and Harki clan were strengthened. The Co-President emphasized that the ‌Harki strugglers in the ranks of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan are the true friends of the path of the goals of the Patriotic Union, and he highly appreciates the role of the militants and encourages them to work and in the spirit of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the upcoming elections for the success of the Kurdistan Coalition candidates in Erbil, Mosul, and Badinan.

 

After the meeting, and during statements to the media of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Jawhar Agal indicated that during his visit to Bafel Talabani, they talked about the internal situation of the Patriotic Union and the steps towards a solution, because unification, reorganization and strengthening the Patriotic Union is everyone's demand, apart from this, he indicated that they are working with the same Previous enthusiasm for the success of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan candidates in Badinan, Erbil and Mosul.

 

Sheikh Harki added: For more than a year, we have been working in the ranks of the Patriotic Union, and we saw it necessary to visit  Bafel Talabani to renew our support for the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and its candidates in the upcoming elections, and that our work and struggle continues within the Patriotic Union, and if we are assigned a task by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and from (Bafel Talabani) we will do it, and for this, through the committees that were opened for the Harki people, we made all preparations for the success of the Patriotic Union candidates in that region.

 

Sheikh Harki, son of Jawhar Agha Harki, stated that the decisions of (Bafel Talabani) are decisions of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and decisions of the late President Mam Jalal, and that is why we are committed to them and certainly any decision issued by him is in the interest of the Patriotic Union, we support and implement it.
