This anthology is an example of the modern Kurdish short stories Dr. kamal maarof has introduced and translated it.

 

It covers all part of Kurdistan (with the exception of west Kurdistan).

Mohammad Amin Bouz Arsalan from north Kurdistan, Hassan Qezelchi east kurdstan , Hussain Arif , Moharram Mohammad Amin , Mohamad Mewlud Mam , Ibrahim Ahmad , Raouf Begard and many others from south Kurdistan .

All these writers represent different waves and trends of the Kurdish short story both in the content or the technique used.

 

In general all the stories are modern and they reflect in a neat style and effective technique the political, social, and intellectual reality of the time in which they are written.

All the characters have emerged from the reality of the society of their time.
