The announcement and giving away ceremony of the Story of Referendum’s book has been held

Today morning at 10:30 am, October 16, 2018, with attendance of a number of writers, journalists, political and liberal personas, the announcement and giving away ceremony of the Story of Referendum’s book has been held at the (Amna Suraka) building, Sulaymaniyah.

 

At the beginning, Karwan Anwar, Secretary of Sulaymaniyah sector of Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate in a speech pointed out that till now we Kurds don’t have a written history and our history was mostly oral and it’s still like that. He also said: Written history must be emphasized on.

 

Later on Sarteep Jawhar, author of the Story of Referendum’s book in a speech pointed out those stories that he collected about the referendum.

 

He added: In the book, with data and evidence it has been pointed out that the great nations weren’t with the referendum idea and they warned the Kurdish officials especially the supporting sides.

 

Later on the attendees conveyed their ideas and thoughts on the referendum and its incidents.

 

The Story of Referendum’s book is a written work of the journalist, Sarteep Jawhar, in the book the author meets with a number of political officials and soldiers who were in the incident.

 

In the book, there's a number of letters and evident have been revealed which are considered to be the dark side of the referendum.
