Ceremony of commemorating tragedy of Halabja

On Tuesday, March 16, the people of Kurdistan commemorated the 33rd anniversary of the bombing of the city of Halabja with chemical weapons by the former Baath regime's men.


The commemoration of the Halabja tragedy began with a march from the city center towards the Martyrs' Monument, with the participation of large crowds and party and government officials.


After the march arrived at the martyrs 'monument, wreaths were placed on the martyrs' monument, and Surat Al-Fatiha was recited by the masses participating in the ceremony.
