Iraq announces 4,320 new cases of Covid-19, 20 deaths

The Iraqi Health Ministry on Friday confirmed 4,320 new coronavirus cases, raising the total number to 1,246,860 in the country.


The Ministry also said that 20 more people died from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 16,568.


Adding that 4,130 recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 1,164,103 in Iraq.


The new cases were recorded after 46,068 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours with the vaccination of 22,302 people in the country.
