Recoveries from Covid-19 surpass infections in Kurdistan Region

The Kurdistan Region has recorded 570 new positive cases of coronavirus, raising the total number to 174,881 in the region.

 

The Health Ministry said on Wednesday, there have been 8 death cases from the coronavirus during the day, the death toll is 4,339.

 

It also said that 778 people recovered during the day, bringing the total recoveries from the disease to 162,674.

 

The new cases were recorded after 7,774 suspected cases were tested across the Kurdistan Region during the past 24 hours. 

 

The Health Ministry, as usual, thanked the efforts of all health workers, calling on citizens to adhere to health instructions, and to contact the hotline "122" for any emergency.
