PUK honors old Peshmerga forces in Khurmatu district

On the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Martyrs' Party (Patriotic Union of Kurdistan), the Hamrin Organizations Center of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan honored a number of old Peshmerga in Khurmatu district. Special decrees were held for them in the presence of Karim Shakur Mohammed, the official of organization center, and a large number of PUK Peshmerga.

 

"It is our duty, as the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, to pay attention to the sacrifices of the old Peshmerga  because they were a tool of sacrifice and still defend the Kurdish cause, and that their honoring is a fulfillment of what they have done and without their awakenings, we would not have reached this day when we live freely," Karim Shukr told PUKmedia after the ceremony ended.
