Qubad Talabani: We have to make efforts to solve problems in Iraq and kurdistan region together

A senior delegation of the Kurdistan regional government in Baghdad, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, visited the sadrist political body on Wednesday, which was received by Nassar al-Rubaie and prominent leaders of the authority.

 

During a meeting on bilateral relations, Talabani thanked sadrist movement for agreeing during the ratification of the 2021 federal budget on the need to agree with the political parties and within the Council of Representatives on the budget law, adding that the problem of Baghdad is also our problem and there is no doubt that the problem of Kurdistan Region is the problem of Iraq, so we have to make efforts to solve the problems in Iraq and kurdistan region together.

 

Nassar al-Rubaie thanked deputy prime minister and the leading negotiating delegation of the Kurdistan regional government for the convergence of views on resolving outstanding problems, particularly the budget, while declaring that the ratification of the budget in that form does not provide the right ground for resolving outstanding problems.

 

Al-Rubaie said he hoped there would always be a rapprochement between Kurdistan and Iraq to solve problems in general.
