Sheikh Jangi congratulates Peshmergas on the anniversary of the founding of PUK

PUK Co-President in a meeting on Tuesday congratulated a number of Peshmergas from the primary divisions of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan on the anniversary of the founding of the PUK, pointing to their struggle and heroism at the start of the new revolution of our nation, according to a statement from SheiKh Jangi's media office. 

 

The following is the full text of the statement: 

 

"Today I welcomed a number of Peshmergas from the primary divisions of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK). In the meeting, I congratulated them on the anniversary of the founding of the PUK and pointed to their struggle and heroism at the start of the new revolution of our nation and the success of these men for the sake of saving Kurds and Kurdistan and achieving the slogans of freedom, democracy, human rights, and the right to self-determination. 

 

We emphasized the renewed spirit that existed among the classes of the community during the revival of the new revolution through the service of the people of Kurdistan. We emphasized that the PUK will be loyal to its old friends, and we promised them that we would continue to fight on their same path. We also announced that we will fulfill the promise that was made to them by our great uncle Mam Jalal, and we will continue to serve them."
