Kurdistan Region reports 693 new coronavirus cases, 17 deaths

The Kurdistan Region has recorded 693 new positive cases of coronavirus, raising the total number to 151,950  in the region.

 

The Health Ministry said on Sunday, there have been 17 death cases from the coronavirus during the day, the death toll is 4,049. 

 

It also said that 931 people recovered during the day, bringing the total recoveries from the disease to 129,284. 

 

The new cases were recorded after 7,365 suspected cases were tested across the Kurdistan Region during the past 24 hours. 

 

The Health Ministry, as usual, thanked the efforts of all health workers, calling on citizens to adhere to health instructions, and to contact the hotline "122" for any emergency.
