Qubad Talabani sends a message of condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Baghdad

Kurdistan Region - Sunday, Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region sent a message of condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families of Al-Khatib Hospital Victims. 

 

From his social media platforms, Talabani said "We followed with great pain and sadness the tragedy of Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad last night, and we offer condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims and we wish a speedy recovery for the wounded and injured, as we put all the health capabilities of the Kurdistan Region at the service of the survivors".

 

He added, we believe the official investigation authorities to diagnose defects, identify deficiencies, and achieve justice to prevent the recurrence of such a painful incident in the future.

 

 

On Saturday, a fire broke out at  Al-Khatib hospital for treating people infected with covid in Baghdad killing 82 and wounding more than 100 people.
