Explosion at an iron factory in Sulaymaniyah

A person was killed in an explosion that occurred at an iron factory in the Tanjaro area of Sulaymaniyah, Thursday morning.

 

" An explosion occurred in the Tanjaro area at the Master Steel iron factory, killing one person and injuring four others," Sulaymaniyah police spokesman Sarkawt Ahmad told PUKmedia.

 

He also said police and civil defense teams immediately arrived at the scene to investigate and control the incident and the health teams transferred the injured to the hospital.

 

PUKmedia correspondent reported that police and firefighting teams reached the scene of the accident and investigations began to find out the cause of the explosion.

 

For his part, Saman Nader, director of the emergency response center in the city of Sulaymaniyah, confirmed in an interview with PUKmedia that an explosion occurred in one of the factories, which led to the occurrence of victims, indicating that the medical teams were present at the scene of the accident.
