Kurdistan Region reports 1,159 new coronavirus cases, 17 deaths

The Kurdistan Region has recorded 1,159 new positive cases of coronavirus, raising the total number to 135,815 in the region.

 

The Health Ministry said on Wednesday, there have been 15 death cases from the coronavirus during the day, the death toll is 3,831. 

 

It also said that 485 people recovered during the day, bringing the total recoveries from the disease to 115,330. 

 

The new cases were recorded after 10,132 suspected cases were tested across the Kurdistan Region during the past 24 hours. 

 

The Health Ministry, as usual, thanked the efforts of all health workers, calling on citizens to adhere to health instructions, and to contact the hotline "122" for any emergency.
