Partial curfew comes into effect in Kurdistan Region's cities

The decision of the partial curfew in the governorates of the Kurdistan Region, at exactly eight o'clock in the evening, Thursday, came into effect.
The Ministry of the Interior announced today that the decision will take effect tonight, pointing out that the number of Coronavirus infections has increased due to citizens' failure to fully adhere to preventive measures and instructions.
The ministry announced on Wednesday that the partial curfew, which includes preventing the movement of vehicles and people in all governorates of the region, from eight in the evening until six in the morning, starting tomorrow, Thursday, the eighth of April, until the twelfth of the same month.
The statement indicated that the decision was taken based on a proposal from the Ministry of Health and due to the increase of infections with the Coronavirus and to protect the health security of the Kurdistan Region.
