Police forces arrest 14 criminals in Basra Governorate

Iraq- Wednesday, The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 14 persons accused of various crimes in different places in Basra Governorate.

 

In a statement, the Interior Ministry stated that "Detachments of the Basra Provincial Police Department and establishments have arrested 14 accused of various crimes, including 3 who are wanted in court under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law." 

 

The statement added, "Basra Police Directorate has vowed to pursue every person who instigates and contributes to destabilizing the stability and security of the province," stressing at the same time, "imposing the rule of law, holding criminals accountable, and developing appropriate plans and solutions to missing the opportunity for everyone who tries to tamper with the security and stability of Basra Governorate."
