Iraq's Covid-19 tally tops 895,622 with record 8,331 cases in 24 hours

Iraq, Wednesday -  The Iraqi Health Ministry confirmed 8,331 new cases of the coronavirus, raising the total number to 895,622 in the country.

 

37 more people died from the coronavirus during the day, bringing the death toll to 14,572.

 

The Ministry also said that 5,020 recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 794,444 in Iraq.

 

The new cases were recorded after 49,588 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours
