Jabbar Yawar, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Peshmerga in the Kurdistan Region, met on Wednesday with the US forces advisor, Colonel David William, and his accompanying delegation, to discuss aid from the international coalition against ISIS to the Kurdish Peshmerga forces.

Yawar said in a statement that the meeting took about an hour and a half, explaining that the two sides discussed the assistance of the US forces and the international coalition to the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces, within the framework of international support for the federal state's forces in the war against the terrorist organization ISIS.

It is noteworthy that the Kurdish Peshmerga forces were one of the main forces in the war against ISIS.
