Iraq records 5,368 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours

The Iraqi Health Ministry confirmed 5,368 new cases of the coronavirus, raising the total number to 873,568 in the country.

 

The Iraqi Health Ministry said on Sunday that 33 more people died from the coronavirus during the day, bringing the death toll to 14,463.

 

The Ministry also said that 5,303 recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 778,535 in Iraq.

 

The new cases were recorded after 39,036 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours
