Peshmerga trainings continue as normal despite Covid-19

The Peshmerga ministry in the Kurdistan regional government confirmed Saturday that the ministry's annual training program is continuing normally and smoothly, stressing that the exercises are continuing with preventive measures taken against coronavirus.
Maj. Gen. Qaraman Kamal, deputy chief of staff at the Peshmerga ministry, said in a special statement to PUKmedia that the ministry has an annual training program for its forces, and that the program has been launched and is continuing.
He added: "The preventive measures against the Corona virus in the Kurdistan region did not affect the peshmerga training program, which is continuing normally and smoothly in accordance with the curriculum set by the ministry, pointing out that the Peshmerga forces are continuing their training by local professors associated with the ministry who have been selected in advance by the international coalition forces.
