Iraq to purchase more doses of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine

Iraqi Council of Ministers has agreed to purchases 1.5M more dozes of Pfizer-Biontech COVID-19 vaccine.

 

Iraq has provided $8M for the ministry of health, from which 3$m is for purchasing Pfizer-Biontech COVID-19 vaccine, according to the agreement between Pfizer and Iraq, the company sell each doze of the vaccine to Iraq for $2. 

 

In the first shipment, Pfizer sent 512,000 doses of the vaccine to Iraq.
