After 206 hours of negotiation KRG's delegation guarantees region's share in Iraqi 2021 budget bill

The Iraqi budget bill of 2021 was very hard to achieve the agreement of all the Iraqi blocs and parties, especially for the Kurdistan Region share. 

 

However, with a good delegation and with the supervision of Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government the aims have been achieved and Kurdistan's share has been guaranteed. 

 

Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of KRG along with his delegation has been traveling to Baghdad since the end of 2020. Since then 10 visits took place, and after 206 hours of meeting, the share has been guaranteed. 

 

In a statement from his social platform, Qubad Talabani hoped that the 2021 bill will be the key element of taking the region and Iraq into a better and new state of the economy, stability, and security. 

 

In noteworthy, Deputy Prime Minister shed the light on how working together and getting rid of all political issues made them successful in approving the budget bill of 2021 stressing that it will bring a new era for both Iraq and Kurdistan Region. 

 

Adding to that, mentioned that this achievement is not only his achievement yet it is the achievement of the whole nation and praised the hard work of all the delegation members. 

 

More than that, Nechirvan Barzani, President of Kurdistan Region praised the hardworking of Qubad Talabani, delegation members, and all the Kurdish blocs that have been working in a unified way toward achieving this goal.
