U.S. Consulate General in KRG congratulates Qubad Talabani on passage of 2021 Iraqi Bill

In the event of approving the Iraqi budget bill for 2021, the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil sent a congratulatory message to Kurdistan Region especially Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister. 

 

In a post from the Consulate General social platform, they have stated "We congratulate the government of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government for reaching agreement on Iraq’s 2021 Federal Budget Law. Congratulations also to the KRG negotiating team led by Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani". 

 

Adding to that, they stressed that the passage of this bill will hopefully lead to a better relationship between Erbil and Baghdad and a more stable economy for the country.
