Local products festival takes place in Darbandikhan

The activities of the first local products festival began on Thursday in Darbandikhan town, 67 km south of Sulaymaniyah, during the festival more than 100 various handicrafts were shown.
The supervisor of the festival, Omar Najem, told PUKmedia that the festival will last for 3 days, displaying more than 100 various handicrafts and local products.
He added that the festival aims to support people who have local products and want to sell them, noting that the participants in the festival are from Sulaymaniyah, Said Sadiq, Darbandikhan, and Garmian.
For his part, festival participant Skala Khalil Muhammad told PUKmedia: “Today we participated in the festival by presenting local Kurdish dairy products," wishing more attention to such festivals.
