Preparations for 33rd anniversary of Halabja Chemical Attack to end soon

A ceremony will be held to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of the Halabja chemical attack by the Saddam Regime, on March 16th.
Along with the other preparations the committee completed a design of the logo for the painful occasion was completed.
Nokhsha Nassih, mayor of Halabja, had announced earlier that the governorate would hold a limited symbolic ceremony this year, honoring the Halabja tragedy, due to the Corona pandemic.
Nokhsha Nassih said that the governorate will hold a limited symbolic ceremony where a wreath of flowers will be placed at the shrine of martyrs, due to the Corona pandemic, noting that no official invitations have been directed to any party, adding that whoever wants to attend is welcome.
Adding to that, she explained that the ceremony will witness a speech by the Ministry of Martyrs and Anfal Affairs, and a word for the families of the martyrs, indicating that several activities and events are taking place from now until the day of the memorial of the tragedy and according to health instructions for combating Corona, noting that yesterday, for example, a photographic exhibition was held at the Martyrs' Monument in Halabja Several photographers from the Islamic Republic of Iran and other countries participated in it.
