Kurdistan in a new step for street music performance

Street music performance in the region is stepping ahead and developing day by day. Where you can see different groups are practicing music in front of parks and streets. 

 

Kamal is one of the members of a music group from East of Kurdistan that is performing live music in one of the streets of Sulaymaniyah saying" I have been doing this for eight years in East of Kurdistan in Bokan and now in Sulaymaniyah". 

 

During the interview, he also indicated that citizens of Sulaymaniyah have been welcoming the performances and showed their interest in listening to them. 

 

For several years, the Sulaimaniyah Department of Music Arts has been conducting weekly street music activities in different locations which have been warmly welcomed by the citizens.
