Kurdistan: snow starts to fall in mountains, villages

Temperatures declined on Thursday, while the snow began falling in the mountainous regions of the Kurdistan Region.
The Directorate of Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring in the Kurdistan Region, in a statement, said that snow fell today in the centers of some districts and sub-districts, "Soran, Khlifan, Rawanduz, Malakan, Pirmam, Sven, Penjwen, Choman, Garmk, Chwarta, Hawraman" with varying rates between 2-5 cm.
Snow is also likely to fall in some provincial centers on Friday night and Saturday morning, due to a decrease in wind speed, that caused great physical losses in the governorates of Sulaymaniyah and Halabjah, on Wednesday.
