Vatican Pope visit to Iraq not postponed after Erbil rocket attack

Iraqi Foreign Ministry denied on Tuesday all rumors that the visit of Pope Francis has been canceled after the Erbil rocket attack.
The Vatican Pope Francis is scheduled to travel to Iraq on March 5 month in what will be the first-ever papal visit to the Middle East country.
Iraqi Foreign Ministry said in a statement: "Vatican Pope's visit to Iraq has not been canceled and all rumors related to that are far from the truth. The visit will be historical!"
On Monday night, the Kurdistan Region's capital Erbil was attacked with 14 rockets killing a civilian contractor and a US service member and several American contractors were injured when the rocket fire landed on coalition forces. The attack was reportedly aimed at the global coalition against ISIS.
