PUK Political Bureau offers condolence to KDP on the death of Rozh Nuri Shaways

The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan on Monday sent a condolence letter to the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party on the death of the Kurdish politician Rozh Nuri Shaways.
"With great sadness and sorrow, we have received the news of the death of Dr. Rozh Nuri Shaways, member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party," PUK's Political Bureau said.
"Dr. Rozh Nuri Shaways was a fighter and politician with experience. He devoted most of his life years to struggle and service in the political field and the implementation of government tasks," it added.
PUK's Political Bureau added that "we extend to you (KDP Political Bureau) and all members of the family of the late Rozh Nuri Shaways our deepest condolences and we share the sorrows with you, and we pray to God that this will be your last grief."
The leading Kurdish politician in the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and former Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Rozh Nuri Shaways died on Monday at the age of 74 after a struggle with illness.
